Girls Teams: All Teams have spots available
Boys Teams: U10, U12, U14, and U18
A few teams only have a spot or two left.
A default list of teams are listed by birth year and gender on the website. This is the easiest way to start registration, but it doesn’t mean that these are the exact teams we will field. You should only be able to register your child for the team that they match by their birth year. If you experience issues, please email lfsoccermn@gmail.com. We expect there will be a few hiccups.
Returning Families:
If you had a child play in 2024 you should have an account in the new system and your players should have been moved as well. Please use the same email you used last season to activate your account and set your password. You can add additional children to your existing account. If you have a new email address, please contact us and do not create a new account! If you do not know what email you used previously, email lfsoccermn@gmail.com.

Ages and Teams
LFYS primarily serves 9U-18U players through 11th grade. A player’s playing age is determined by the age that they turn in 2025. Example: a 12 year old who turns 13 later in 2025 is 13U. Players are eligible starting at 9U (born in 2016). If you are 8U (born in 2017), a 2025 graduate, or 19U (2006), you can register and we will roster you if we have team openings.
Our league groups teams by even numbered ages: 10U team, 12U team, 14U team, etc. As an example, a U12 team would normally be 11U and 12U players.
Payment and Fees
The Feb 24 deadline is used to determine how many teams we field. Teams are subject to roster requirements and coach availability. If there is not a team for your child, you will be refunded in full. Registration will reopen after the initial deadline for teams with openings. If we are over-rostered, the board will determine if we split teams, hold a tryout, have practice only players, etc. Parents will be contacted by the end of the first week of March when teams are finalized.
Payment is required at time of registration via credit card or electronic check. Registration is $200.
Uniforms – There is no additional uniform fee. The club will provide uniforms to use during the season.

LFYS is a volunteer led organization. We cannot execute our soccer programming without a number of volunteers throughout the year. Whether that is serving on the board, coaching, helping with equipment, etc., we need you to continue building this program! We are always looking for coaches, referees, and advisory board members. If you know someone who may be interested in either of these, please contact a current Advisory Board Member.
